Beauty titleholders to be crowned

clipped from www.clintonnews.com

As her second reign as Miss Clinton winds to an end, Mississippi College student Karmen Todd has words of advice for the young woman who next will wear the crown.

“You have to know how to carry yourself, and have good morals and values to represent the city of Clinton,” said Todd, a Clinton High graduate in her fourth and final semester of nursing school at Mississippi College.

“People look up to you. You have such huge responsibility,” she said. “But, it’s fun, too.”

Also Saturday, Miss Teen Clinton will be crowned, along with titles for girls ages 4 through grade 8. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door, and seating is limited.
Those competing for Miss Clinton are Tiffany Boyte, a freshman at Mississippi College; and Brittany White and Catie Davis, both seniors at Clinton High.
